Important Update
To Our Supporters

We have both challenging news and hopeful news to share with our community.

After moving toward closing on the property we had been pursuing, we were informed by the city that operating a Musallah at that location would not be permitted. Because of this restriction, we have decided not to move forward with the purchase, as it would not fulfill the vision and needs of our organization.

The good news is that our search continues, alhamdulillah. We are actively looking for another suitable property, particularly in the Upstate New York and Binghamton regions, where we can establish a masjid along with an Islamic school and Hifz program, inshaAllah.

We want to reassure all of our donors that every contribution entrusted to us will remain safely held until we identify the right property that genuinely serves the needs of the Muslim community. At that time, those funds will be used for their intended purpose, inshaAllah.

We remain committed to transparency and accountability and will continue to keep our community informed as we make progress.

A Legacy of Faith & Knowledge

Mahad Darul Marif was named by our beloved Sheikh Sultan Zauq Nadavi (Rahimahullah), who proposed this blessed name on August 11, 2023, inspired by the renowned Darul Ma'arif Al-Islamiah in Chittagong, Bangladesh. He closely followed and supported the development of this institution until his passing.
